What would you do if you came across an other-worldly force? Something you hadn’t seen before? Something totally out of this world?
On Friday 1 and Saturday 2 July, a mystery shipment will be arriving in Newcastle-under-Lyme, brought here by Appetite and The Place. Expect reports of fireballs, power surges and electromagnetic waves in the borough.
Get ready to experience the unknown as Future Cargo lands in Newcastle. The sci-fi dance spectacle is a homage to a past and a future where contact seems all too possible. Performances will be taking place at 7pm and 9pm, with each performance lasting around 50 minutes.

The acclaimed outdoor show by Frauke Requardt & David Rosenburg combines large-scale spectacle with surprising intimacy in a sci-fi dance phenomenon performed under the stars, where audiences wear headphones to connect them to the strange world and events inside the truck.

This is an outdoor performance. There will bench seating available.
If you use a wheelchair please let Box Office know so they can make sure they allocate you enough space.
Each audience member will be given headphones to use during the performance, listening to the audio through them.
Audio description is available for all performances through selecting which track to listen to on the headphones.
Performance length is around 50mins.
Future Cargo will be parking up at the bottom of High Street, Newcastle Town Centre, ST5 1PT. That’s just at the end of the market.
