SAA-uk’s Tabla Ensemble presents a vibrant 40-minute festival showcase, featuring five dynamic players from the SAA-uk Academy.
Driven by a flowing naghma/lehriya, the set bursts with rhythmic interplay, tight compositions, and spontaneous solos that highlight each artist’s flair. Expect bursts of incredible energy, intricate bols, and playful call-and-response passages.
The performance builds steadily, layering textures and tempo, before culminating in a thrilling crescendo finale—a powerful dhamaka that leaves audiences energised and resonating long after the last beat on stage together.
