Young Creatives Takeover

Calling young performers aged 16 to 21

Do you sing, dance, write poetry, perform spoken word, make music or have another talent you're ready to share with an audience?

For the first time, Appetite is launching the Young Creatives Takeover – an opportunity for four young performers to take to the Piccadilly Stage as part of our free outdoor arts festival The Big Feast.

Whether you're an experienced performer or this would be your first time on stage, we'd love to hear from you.

Successful applicants will receive:

  • A 10-minute performance slot on the Piccadilly Stage during The Big Feast on Saturday 29 August

  • A stipend to support their participation

  • Inclusion on the festival website and in promotional activity

The Young Creatives Takeover has been created to celebrate and support emerging talent from Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding area.

‍How to apply

‍Complete the application form here by 11.59pm on Friday 17 July. Applicants will be asked to upload a two-minute video showcasing their performance skills.

‍We'll let everyone know the outcome by Friday 31 July.

‍Need to know

Performers aged 16 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult on the day of their performance.
