GET TO KNOW Pagrav Dance Company
Pagrav means ‘the sound of feet’. Through the Indian classical dance form Kathak – which expresses stories through movement, especially footwork and facial gesture – Pagrav Dance Company celebrates an ancient tradition and its potential to empower people and enhance lives.
In this way, Kathak’s roots have inspired more than two decades of boundary-pushing, joyful, and deeply human work from Pagrav Dance Company.
Featuring a cast of talented British Asian dance artists, Aunusthan takes audiences on a journey through infectious rhythm and dance, showcasing the bright future of Kathak in the UK and creating an unforgettable experience for all.
So join us and them as we step together into a world of abstracted relationships, complex patterns, rigorous choreography, virtuosic performance and riotous rhythms for a vibrant celebration of neo-classical Indian dance and music.
