A joyous love letter to Stoke-on-Trent and its people.
Since 2014, The Big Feast - our festival-style flagship event - has transformed Hanley into a free, outdoor celebration of art and culture. For one summer weekend, Stoke-on-Trent’s city centre becomes a stage with performances popping up in streets, buildings and unexpected spaces.
It’s playful, surprising and made for everyone. Drop in or stay all day – you’ll find something to make you smile and come back year after year.
No two Feasts are the same. Each year, we bring together brilliant local, national and international artists to create moments that are joyful, moving and unforgettable.

How is the Big Feast made?
The Big Feast is delivered by Appetite in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Centre Business Improvement District (BID) and Stoke-on-Trent City Council. The event is funded annually by our partnerships with City Centre BID and the National Lottery through Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places programme.
It’s brought to life with our production partner PH Production Services, and shaped each year by hundreds of local people, community groups and volunteers.
